Create Database Permission Denied in Database Master.

Applies to: Laserfiche Workflow 8 on SQL Server 2005.

Problem Description.
 

We were configuring the Workflow Subscriber for Laserfiche 8 using the Workflow Subscriber Configuration Utility, but on the last page when we clicked on Finish to accept the changes, we received the following error message on screen:

Workflow Subscriber Configuration Utility
CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.

Solution.


You are using a SQL login for configuring Workflow Subscriber. Make that login a member of the "dbcreator" server role only while you are configuring Workflow Subscriber.
