Error Registering Laserfiche Repository.


Applies to: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition SP3, Windows Server 2008, Laserfiche 8.

 

Problem Description.
 

While registering the Laserfiche Repository using the Laserfiche Repository Wizard, we received the following error message:

Laserfiche Repository Wizard
Could not connect to SQL Server to verify that the database exists. Do you want to continue?








Cause.

The Laserfiche Repository Wizard was not able to connect to the SQL Server instance because it attempted to login using a SQL login with an incorrect password.
